Social media is changing the world in which we work, socialise and govern. From Twitter to eBay, Facebook to YouTube, new tools are emerging every year that place the connecting power of the internet in the hands of every one of us.

This event will build on the recent publication of Local by Social by the IDeA, working with FutureGov to bring together a range of social innovators to meet with local government colleagues, showcase their work and consider how and when it is possible for local government to work with the social innovators to achieve better outcomes locally in the world of Public Services 2.0.
